Keshia Knight Pulliam from 'The Cosby Show' Melts Hearts with Clip of Daughter Ella Playing a Drum

Keshia Knight Pulliam shared a video of her adorable mini-me beating a traditional drum, and fans can't get enough. The actress, who won the latest custody battle against her ex, also had some interesting questions for their daughter.

Keshia, 40, is known for sharing precious moments with her daughter, Ella Grace Hartwell, and a recent clip posted via her Instagram page is no exception.

This time, it appeared the mommy-daughter duo visited an African shop. In the background were a couple of African print dresses while little Ella beat on one of two traditional drums leaning against the wall.

"Are you calling the ancestors?" Keshia could be heard asking in jest. "And the angels?" In the caption, she added: "Thank you, Angels."

Fans in the comment section could not get enough of Ella's cuteness and said as much with heartwarming remarks. "She's a cutie cutie pie," gushed one Instagram user.

"Oh, how sweet, she's adorable," added a second fan while a third said: "Awwww, she got her mommies smile. Too cute!"

Keshia welcomed Ella in January 2017 following a contentious split with her ex-husband and baby daddy, retired NFL player Ed Hartwell. The pair tied the knot on New Year's 2016, but six months later, Ed filed for divorce.

Both parties threw accusations at the time. While Keshia claimed her ex was cheating on her, the former athlete said Keshia's alleged obsession with having a baby soon after marriage negatively impacted their relationship.

Ed, 41, went as far as questioning the paternity of Keshia's unborn baby at the time. He demanded a DNA test that eventually proved he is, indeed, Ella's father.

Probably because of the controversy surrounding her daughter's birth, Keshia, 40, did not reveal Ella's face until September 2018, four months to the little one's second birthday.

Keshia and Ed's messy divorce was finalized in April 2018, and the actress was granted primary custody of Ella as well as $3007 in monthly child support. The same year, however, Ed filed a request for another trial to get joint custody.

According to Page Six, Ed claimed in that request that his ex-wife denied him visitation on many occasions, citing a time when she went to support her "Cosby Show" co-star Bill Cosby during his sexual assault trial.

In March, a Georgia judge denied Ed his trial request, ruling that the existing custody arrangement between both exes still stands.

Ed has reportedly tied the knot and welcomed a daughter with the woman Keshia alleged he was cheating on her with. Keshia is also currently dating "For Better or Worse" actor Brad James and focused on being a doting mom to Ella.
