Comedian Wayne Brady who won Season 2 of "The Masked Singer" revealed that he had the unconditional support of his ex-wife Mandie Taketa, and his daughter, Maile Masako Brady.

WAYNE BRADY BROKE THE NEWS TO HIS FAMILY
When he received the proposal from "The Masked Singer," Wayne immediately reached out to the most important people in his life. He revealed to Variety:
“The very first people that I told immediately was my daughter, Maile, and my best friend, who is my ex-wife, Mandie. I had to tell them first because I asked my daughter’s permission."
At first, Maile, 16, was far from thrilled at the prospect of her dad entering a talent contest of any kind.
WAYNE BRADY REVEALS HE IS A "TALENT SNOB"
The reason for Maile's reluctance was that both she and her dad had always believed that celebrity contests were all about the audience eagerly waiting to see their idols crash and burn. Wayne explained:
"My daughter and I are kind of talent snobs. Any show that starts off with ‘celebrity,’ we go, ‘Hell no!’ Because, in my mind, people tune into those things (...) not because they want to see the talent, but because they want to see the train wreck."
MALIE WAS WON OVER
However, after seeing her dad perform for the first time on a "The Masked Singer" episode Malie was completely won over and became Wayne's most ardent supporter.
KEEPING THE SECRET
One of the requirements of "The Masked Singer" is complete secrecy, and Malie confessed that it was difficult to keep the secret, especially when people started suspecting The Fox might be Wayne and started calling her "little fox."
But the secret was kept, and the revelation of The Fox's identity was one of the high points of the season.
Season 3 will premiere after the Super Bowl on February 2, 2020, and there will be new mysterious singers to unmask, and surprising talents to discover.

THE IDENTITY OF THE WOMAN BEHIND THE FLOWER MASK STUNNED FANS
The stunned audience of "The Masked Singer" was left speechless when two contestants, The Flower and The Leopard were eliminated in the last episode.
The breathless moment came when The Flower unmasked to reveal the iconic Patti LaBelle.
Patti joined soul singer Seal and Sherri Shepherd on the bench, while The Flamingo, The Rottweiller and The Fox battled for the big prize. In the end, The Fox was unmasked as the ultimate winner and turned out to be comedian Wayne Brady, and not Jamie Foxx as so many had surmised.
