Although Nia is married to retired NBA player, Ime Udoka, it seemed as if her relationship with Massai has remained cordial.

The blended family has often made headlines, especially since I Love Old School Music revealed that Ime had somewhat influenced his stepson's athletic ambitions.

Even though she shares her children with two different men, Nia has made no hesitation in showing that she loved them both equally.

During a 2017 stopover at the "Rachael Ray Show," the "Big Momma's House" actress explained that her children made her a better woman.

She added that she was dedicated to them having a great life as they learned the importance of respecting women.

It will be recalled that Today had announced the birth of Nia's second child in November 2011.

Today also mentioned that the actress had made news of her pregnancy public in June of the same year.

Two years after Sunday's birth, E! News had exclusively confirmed that Nia and Ime had gotten engaged following months of fan and media speculation.

The then 44-year-old "The Best Man Holiday" star had sparked engagement rumors after she was seen rocking a diamond ring even though she and her man chose not to speak on it.
