The cooking idol has done well in the family business, expanding the single Carlo's bakery outlet into a chain of bakeries, ranked among the top business empires in the country.
Fans took to the comment section to extend birthday wishes to the icon's grandmother while commending the family's cuteness.
DEALING WITH PAST TRAGEDIES
The photo, which comprised the older Valastros, was missing two crucial members of the fold, the pastry chef's parents.
The television star's dad passed on in 1994, from lung cancer, leaving the family's bakery to the 42-year-old. To mark the 25th anniversary of his father's passing, the cook shared:
"It's been 25 years since I lost my father, and not a day goes by where I don't think of him and thank him for everything he taught me. Still loved and still missed."
MEET THE STAR'S FAMILY
Over two decades later, the chef's mom, Mary Valastro, also passed away, following a long battle with ALS.
Since the loss of his parents, the cooking idol has done well with the family business, expanding the single Carlo's bakery outlet into a chain of bakeries, ranked among the top business empires in the country.
The TLC star married his wife, Lisa Valastro, in 2001, with whom he shares four children, Sofia, Buddy Jr., Marco and Carlo.

Despite his busy schedule, the pastry chef still makes time for family, always keeping them within reach.
Buddy's wife and kids have made several appearances on his cooking show, "Cake Boss," which has earned them a level of popularity.
It can be recalled that in 2014, the baker's first child, Sofia Valastro, shared a video of herself making ice cream cone cupcakes, which went viral shortly after it was posted with over fifty-five million views.
It seems the chef's children are looking to follow in their dad's footsteps, pursuing a career in show biz and culinary.
