In a new adorable video shared by the "Silence of the Lambs" star on his Instagram page, Hopkins could be seen entertaining his cat by playing the piano to him.

The clip which had a touching yet hilarious caption showed the 82-year-old actor playing a song as the cat sat listening attentively on his lap.

About a few seconds into the video, Hopkins and his cat, Niblo, could be seen sharing a lovely moment as Niblo turned and gazed cutely into his owner's eyes. The video was captioned,

"Niblo is making sure I stay healthy and demands I entertain him in exchange... cats ??‍♂️"

From the look of things, it seems the actor is having the best time practicing social distancing with his "pal" Niblo. Just a few days ago, Hopkins took to social media to wish his followers and fans a good morning. In the post, the actor revealed that his "pal" would also love to wish his fans a good morning. He said,

“Niblo wishes everyone a lovely day...”

Niblo is, however, not the only one who gets to enjoy the actor's musical talent. The "Silence of the Lambs" star also takes it upon himself to play for his fans when he's chanced.

Last year, Hopkins shared a clip with his fans of him playing the piano, and as usual, he had his cat in his laps. The actor is clearly fond of Niblo, and he revealed his love for animals during an interview with fellow actor Brad Pitt last December.

While talking about the things that are dear to him (his cat and his dog,) he stated that watching his cat "jumping to a little pinch on the fireplace" is a sight he can't get enough of. "That is totally awe-inspiring,” the actor gushed.

The talented actor who is also a workaholic was born on December 31, 1937, in Margam, Port Talbot, Wales. His journey into acting began when he met Richard Burton, who inspired him to become an actor as a teenager.

Years later, Hopkins is a well-respected actor who not only loves his cat Niblo but also through his small gestures sends love to the world.
