A REFLECTION
The song has a classic country vibe that people don't hear anymore today. Chesney described his new song as pure, and that it brings back innocent hopefulness for country music, as reported by Taste of Country.
It is also his personal reflection on the people he had met along the way. This is apparent in the song's nostalgic vibe.
"It can be someone who's passed away, just staring into the sunset," he said, "knowing they're living that best part of life in heaven, maybe even looking down on you and smiling."
UPCOMING ALBUM
"Knowing You" came after Chesney released his single "Here and Now" song last February. His two songs are part of his newest and upcoming album "Here and Now."
Produced together with Buddy Cannon, Chesney's album is set to be released on May 1. Cannon was also the one who worked with the singer's 2018 album, "Songs for the Saints."
Chesney is scheduled for a "Chillaxification 2020 Tour" but it was postponed due to ongoing pandemic.
CANCELED TOUR
Chesney is scheduled for a "Chillaxification 2020 Tour" but it was postponed due to ongoing pandemic. Several events have been canceled due to the government's mandatory home quarantine.
A lot of fans noticed an uplifting message in Chesney's song, "Here And Now," which he released last February 21. It was a life-affirming song, as reported by Taste of Country.
Individuals were busy making a living before the crisis happened. Now, they are slowly focused on the essential things in life.
"Only thing is, that's exactly how you miss everything that matters! It's not the big stuff that gets you laughing or breaks the bad momentum," he said, "it's what's right here if you'll bother to dial in and really feel it."
In 2018, Chesney has an unforgettable live performance with Uncle Kracker. They shared the stage to perform the song "Drift Away."
