William Allen Young of 'Moesha' & Helen Young's Enduring Marriage of 33 Years

William Allen Young of "Moesha" has been married to his beautiful wife Helen for more than three decades now, and together they share two sons. Though they've been married for a long time now, they remain to be happily-in-love with one another.

Marriage has its ups and downs, but for William Allen Young and his wife Helen, they've decided to stick together through it all. After getting married 33 years ago, they remain committed and faithful to each other, and to their two sons.

REMEMBERING WILLIAM ALLEN YOUNG'S CAREER

William is best known for his role as Frank Mitchell on "Moesha," but he's starred on over 100 TV series such as "Babylon 5," "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," and "Matlock." While it seems he has his hands full, he was also previously a professor of English and Dramatic Arts at Woodbury University.

While he's done so much in his life and has received awards for it, nothing beats his role as husband and father to his family.

HIS MANY ACCOLADES

William has been honored with many different accolades, such as being inducted into the African American Hall of Education. He has also received the Ford Foundation Freedom Unsung Award, the NAACP Social Achievement Award, and the President's Icon Award.

Recently, he attended Sheryl Lee Ralph's 29th annual DIVA Foundation gala, where she asked Young and Brandy about the possibility of bringing "Moesha" back to life. Of course, they were excited about the idea and wish it'd be picked up for production. After all, everybody misses the classic sitcom.

HIS ROLE AS A FAMILY MAN

While he's done so much in his life and has received awards for it, nothing beats his role as husband and father to his family. With Helen, he shares two sons, Jamal and Kahlil and although they're all grown up now, they remain extremely close.

Whenever he feels like it, he shows off his enduring love with his wife on social media, which often gets praise from his fans. After all, you don't always get to see a marriage that's lasted more than three decades, especially in the industry.
