People: Kate Middleton 'Loves' When People Say Prince Louis Is Her Lookalike

On Thursday, April 23, 2020, Prince Louis celebrated his second birthday with the release of new photos of the toddler. Some people noticed that the little boy looked like his mother, Duchess Kate, and she’s apparently happy with the comparison.

A friend of Kate’s recently spoke to “People” magazine to address her likeness to baby Louis. The source said: “Everyone always comments on how Louis is the spitting image of Kate.”

The insider also shared: “She loves it and thinks it’s very sweet.” According to the friend, the royal often joked “that he’s the only one of her kids who actually looks like her!”

LOUIS LIKENED TO HIS GRANDDAD

However, in all honesty, the little toddler also bears a strong resemblance to the Duchess’ father, Mike Middleton, 75. Some fans commented on his photos about the resemblance.

Kate’s second child, Princess Charlotte, is often compared to her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. On Wednesday, Kensington Palace took to social media to release five images of Louis.

TAKING PART IN A SPECIAL ARTS PROJECT

The sixth image was of Louis’ paint handprint. In the photographs, taken by his mother, he took part in a special arts and crafts project.

While at his family’s country home in Norfolk, the little prince was pictured wearing a blue and white gingham shirt. His little hands were covered in rainbow-colored paint.

HONORING NHS WORKERS

The rainbow painting project is done by children in the UK to honor NHS workers. Healthcare and essential workers have been an integral part of making sure people get treatment and goods during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

LOUIS’ BIRTHDAY PHOTOS

On the day of his birthday, the palace released two more images of the little boy. In one of the photos, Louis happily showed off his rainbow-colored hands to the camera.

“INSTAGRAM VS REALITY”

In the second photograph his cheeks were covered in the paint and he had a goofy expression on his face. The pictures were titled: “Instagram Vs Reality.”

LOUIS DROPS PARENT’S VIDEO CALLS

Last Friday, Kate and Prince William gave a rare BBC interview where they spoke about their youngest son. William revealed how the little boy kept cutting off his parent’s video calls stating:

“For some reason, he sees the red button and he always wants to press the red button.”
