Gabrielle Union Slammed for Posting Photos of Daughter Kaavia without a Shirt On

Online trolls came for the "Being Mary Jane" star Gabrielle Union after she updated her Instagram with an image of herself and her one-year-old daughter, Kaavia-James Wade, who was shirtless.

The actress is a mother of one; she shares her tot with Dwyane Wade, former NBA champion. She enjoys doting on her family, and countless uploads on her Instagram page show that the tv personality isn't shy about keeping fans abreast of updates on her family.

Just four days ago, Gabrielle shared snaps from her home. The first few images featured Kaavia without a shirt, but the toddler had some shoes and an animal print leggings on.

The "Us" captioned photo garnered mixed reactions from internet users. Some fans applauded the mother-daughter duo for looking effortlessly beautiful, and a few fans revealed their dissatisfaction due to Kaavia's bare chest and stomach on display. A fan quipped:

"She's a little girl, why would you post her with no shirt on. Come one now!!! We got to do better."

Another commenter seconded the notion and added that the post was "really disturbing." Fans may have their opinions, but this has nothing on the mother who is constantly doting on her own, and her Instagram says it all.

Though Dwyane has other kids from past relationships, this is his first and only child with the actress.

Fans were recently mesmerized with a shared shot from the "Bring It On" star's IG, where she shared a photo that showed mother and daughter rocking similar hair curls. Mama sweetly captioned it:

"See @kaaviajames mama's got hair like yours. When I took my braids out, she was...now mama and baby both rocking their natural curls."

Not sure whether the 1-year-old would thread on the same career path as mommy or daddy on TV or in a basketball court, the 46-year-old is utilizing the quarantine period to teach her daughter some music and swimming skills.

Kaavia was born via surrogate after Gabrielle's battle with infertility, which caused her to lose about nine pregnancies. On arrival, her parents shared the news online, referring to her as their "miracle baby."

Though Dwyane has other kids from past relationships, this is his first and only child with the actress. The on-screen star, on the other hand, successfully manages a blended family and has been supportive of her step kids.

Gabrielle isn't bothered about what critics say; for her, it's family first and putting a smile on the faces of her loved ones while sharing those precious moments, is all that matters to her.
