Richard Gere's Wife Alejandra Shares Rare Wedding Photos to Mark Their 2nd Anniversary

Richard Gere's wife is celebrating the pair's 2nd anniversary with a rare look at the day the couple got married. Her words were heartwarming, and the pictures even sweeter.

On Tuesday, Richard Gere's wife Alejandra Silva took to Instagram to let the world know that she's still deeply in love with her famous husband. She also treated fans to never-before-seen wedding photos.

The 37-year-old and the 70-year-old began dating back in 2014. In 2018, they officially tied the knot and have since welcomed two children together. The post is found below.

"Today is the day I married the most wonderful man I have ever met," Silva began her post. Three pictures accompanied the romantic message in the caption.

It ended with, "You make me sooo happy! You are the love of my life." The first photo showed Gere and Silva sharing an intimate kiss on their wedding day.

The second showed the pair laughing together as they walked in front of a large pond or lake. The third photo featured the two posing with Gere's arms around his new wife.

The post garnered nearly 10k likes and hundreds of comments. When the couple got married two years ago, Gere said he was "the happiest man in the universe."

The pair held a civil ceremony that was later followed up by a celebration of their nuptials in New York City, where family and friends could attend. Silva, a publicist, has been married once before.

She shares a son with ex-husband Govind Friedland. As for Gere, this is his third marriage. He was with model Cindy Crawford from 1991 to 1995 and then with Carey Lowell from 2002 before separating in 2013.

Silva has a son, five-year-old Albert, from her previous marriage — as does Gere, who shares son, Homer, 20, with Cowell. The pair share one-year-old Alexander Gere together.

In April 2020, they welcomed a second boy, but have not revealed the newborn's name as yet. Currently, the family of four is spending time together at their ranch on Pound Ridge.

Despite their vast age difference, Gere and Silva's love story seems to be something made out of fairytales. And it all started when Gere kept on sending Silva flowers until she agreed to date him.
