After meeting at the “Mule” star’s hotel, Clint Eastwood and Christina Sandera began their romantic relationship that deepened over time.

“He’s truly happy with her,” a source told Closer Weekly. “She’s fun, easygoing, and his kids like her too. She’s on an even keel like he is.”

SANDERA’S RED CARPET APPEARANCES

Sandera first walked on the red carpet as Eastwood’s date to the Oscars in 2015, the same time their relationship was made public.

She later made it to another event with the actor a few months later, at the Ranch Foundation’s first annual “Fallen Garden Party.”

The following year, the former hostess had another public appearance with her partner as she accompanied him to the New York premiere night of “Sully.”

Sandera now lives in the movie star’s Carmel, California home, where he used to reside with his ex-wife Dina. She moved in a few years after his ex-wife moved out.

In 2015, shortly after the couple’s relationship began, Sandera’s ex-husband, Paul Wainscoat, came forward about his marriage with her for eleven months.

The legendary actor turned 91 years old on May 31 while celebrating his special day with his loved ones in Carmel.

According to Wainscoat, his ex had a drinking problem and anger management issues that led her to physically hurting him.

Even before their marriage, Eastwood’s girlfriend showed signs of being abusive and was arrested for domestic battery after an incident with Wainscoat.

Sandera didn’t change after they tied the knot and remained physical at times, even throwing a Gatorade bottle to his head at one point.

He even said that Sandera woke up one night and punched him in the face because she was upset over her cat's death. Later, Wainscoat told the court that she was a violent alcoholic and a spendthrift gold-digger wife. On the other hand, Sandera denied hitting him but accepted that she was disturbing the peace.

Wainscoat reached his endpoint in 2003, after yet another domestic disturbance that involved the police. Sandera later said she had quit drinking alcohol and attended AA and anger management classes.
