LL Cool J's Fashionista Wife Simone Shows off Her Outfit Which Flaunts Her Toned Legs and Tattoos

She is a devoted mother, a successful businesswoman, and a cancer survivor, so she has every reason to celebrate who she is, never forgetting her responsibility to pay it forward, all while staying in style.

Designer and rapper LL Cool J’s wife Simone Smith is known to have a love for fashion, and she loves to use her Instagram account to show her thousands of fans her different outfits, which can go from very urban to haute couture.

The passionate fashionista recently took to her social network’s feed to showcase her everyday style, proving that even in isolation she never loses the chance to experiment with her look.

In the July 4 post, Smith appeared wearing a grey cotton T-shirt dress with two side cuts that left her toned legs visible, complete with her tattoos, including one that partially covers a scar from her cancer treatment of 15 years ago.

Smith captioned the image with a message that references that scar, sharing that to her it serves as a great reminder of how fortunate she is to be alive after what she has gone through, something that allows her to remain always grateful.

Wanting to inspire others to remember the importance of being grateful and of celebrating who each of us is, Smith invited her fans to:

“Celebrate your victories, setbacks, wins, and losses.”

A woman of faith, Smith also thanked God for having watched over her during it all. She concluded the caption with a lighter tone, joking about her legs needing a little sun.

CANCER SURVIVOR

Smith has been cancer-free for 15 years, but she has never forgotten her battle with the disease, stepping out in solidarity with those that are now going through the same experience.

Apart from using her platform to share her personal story with bone cancer in an effort to raise awareness about the condition, Smith is donating the proceeds of one of her jewelry designs to the American Cancer Society.

CAMPAIGNING TOGETHER

Smith had already been married to LL Cool J, with whom she shares four children, for nearly ten years when she was diagnosed with a rare type of bone cancer called chondrosarcoma, and during the more than two years that it took her to recover from the treatment, her husband stopped everything else to focus on her.

Having gone through this ordeal together only made Smith and LL’s bound stronger, and the two have lent their images to the American Cancer Society for the public service campaign “Beat Cancer Like a Boss.”

“Boss is battling cancer by finding your inner strength. Cancer left its mark, but it couldn’t beat the boss within,” Smith says in the video that also features celebrities like Mary J. Blige, Remy Ma, and Jordin Sparks.

Blige is one of Smith’s close associates, and apart from sharing a fashion collection called Sister Love, they are both devoted spokeswomen of the American Cancer Society, recently co-hosting a fundraising event in New York City.

Since Smith was diagnosed with cancer, the mother-of-four has reportedly helped raise $250,000 for the American Cancer Society.
