Miles and Karen are among five couples hoping to find lasting love on the 11th season of Lifetime's hit show, "Married at First Sight."

The teaser for the premiere episode showed Karen declaring that Miles was not the type of guy she would typically date after finding out his name in a text message she received the night before the wedding. Get to know the newly matched couple.

It is reported, 30-year-old Karen was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She relocated to New Orleans, where she works in human resources as a consultant.

During the premiere episode, Karen admitted that she looked Miles up on social media after finding out his name. The bride-to-be said he appeared to be "too emotional" for her liking and she was reconsidering going through with the wedding.

The experts have dubbed Karen "Ms. Reservations" because her last relationship was five years long and ended in infidelity after her partner had a baby with another woman.

Miles is looking for the family he never had. The experts have dubbed him "Mr. Young and Ready."

Karen admitted that the heartbreak she experienced forced her to become a lot more cautious with relationships. Karen explained that she instinctively puts a wall up in relationships.

At 26-years-old, Miles is a few years younger than Karen but is ready for the ultimate commitment. He focused on education and enjoyed working with young adults and children.

According to Lifetime, Miles joined "Married at First Sight" because he felt his options in finding love were limited. He hopes that the show will help him find love in a place where he never explored before.

Lifetime added that Miles is confident in the process step up to help couples find love and trusts the guidance from the experts.

The North Carolina native's optimism in finding love steams from his parent's divorce when he was nine-years-old. Miles is looking for the family he never had. The experts have dubbed him "Mr. Young and Ready."

While Karen has her concerns about Miles' personality, it is not clear if his age will bring up any apprehensions about the future.

Shawniece and Jephte from season six had a similar age gap, and despite the couple's rocky start, they are still married and raising a daughter together.
