While Daniel Brühl has been growing a fanbase since he began portraying Dr. Laszlo Kreizler in “The Alienist,” his wife, Felicitas Rombold, has gained even more attention.

According to Heavy, Felicitas is a brunette whose career as a catwalk model earned her monetary and public success. Despite the fame and achievement that came with modeling, Felicitas opted to leave it behind so she could focus on and pursue a path in academia.
In addition to his applaudable acting skills, Daniel is also well-known for his language speaking prowess. [It was reported that] the star can comfortably speak Spanish, German, French, English, Portuguese, and Catalan.
As of January 2018, the expectant mother-of-one was working on getting a Ph.D., and her research papers and projects were made available on various educational websites.
Felicitas’ husband informed Page Six that she almost lost her cool when he was getting ready to feature in “The Alienist” as he had numerous questions for her. While noting that Felicitas is a practicing psychotherapist, the 42-year-old stated:
“Before we went to bed, I would ask her questions … She had her moments of, ‘Would you leave me alone?’ But she was very helpful.”
During a separate interview with Town and Country Magazine, Daniel divulged that his wife was more satisfied with the show’s second season than its first. Even though he admitted that watching “The Alienist” season two gave him nightmares, Daniel said:
“With her being a mother and me being a father of a little boy and expecting our second child to be born very soon, we were very touched by it.”
Besides his appearance in the TNT series, Daniel’s IMDb page noted that he has featured in movies such as “Captain America: Civil War,” “7 Days in Entebbe,” “My Zoe,” “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” and “Woman In Gold.”

The actor revealed that his language acquisition came from having a Spanish mother, two German uncles who got married to French women, and a father who worked for German television.
