The ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic has thrown major cities worldwide into a compulsory lockdown as authorities struggle to stop the spread of the highly contagious virus.
Sadly, the situation has left many people stranded or unable to make trips for special celebrations. And this was the situation for Lupita Nyong'o as the travel restrictions prevented her from attending her little brother's wedding ceremony.

Thankfully for the "Us" star, she watched the ceremony virtually on her laptop as her brother tied the knot with his sweetheart Wanja Wohoro. Lupita later shared a picture of her MacBook set up for her to view the nuptials.
In another photo shared by the 37-year-old actress, Junior can be seen locked in a warm embrace with his beautiful bride. The groom wore a white outfit paired with a golden vest, while his bride, Wohoro, was dressed in a gorgeous white sleeveless gown. While sharing the pictures, Lupita wrote:
"...Sharing a moment of joy in my family's life when my sweet, gentle, loving baby brother @juniornyongo made his declaration of love to his new bride..."
Lupita also stated disbelief that she was unable to attend the ceremony physically but added that she was grateful she could watch it live.
Junior also shared the same pictures from the wedding on his Instagram page while penning down a sweet tribute to his bride. "Star Wars" actor John Boyega took to the comments section to congratulate him.
