Many would attest to the fact that the novel coronavirus pandemic put a damper on many plans and activities. For Govan and Fisher, their wedding plans had to be put on hold after they have been together for five years.

Besides her top-notch fashion, Govan is known for her prominent affiliation with the NBA.

The duo got engaged in 2018 and planned to seal their love life this spring. However, due to orders put in place by many governments, they had to stop the preparations. However, the reality star made it known that their wedding plans were still intact.

At the early stage of the pandemic, Fisher and his partner were in the news for contributing their quota to fighting the novel coronavirus. The duo was said to have donated food and safety gear to first responders and other health workers.

The donated meals came from Govan's Granada Hills restaurant, Gorditos. The "Basketball Wives" star's donations came despite the dire situation of her restaurant. Govan's food place was struggling at the time due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Before her love life started with Fisher, Govan was married to her eighth-grade sweetheart and NBA star, Matt Barnes.

The two were married for three years and have twin boys. After their 2016 divorce, Govan became part of the original cast of Shaunie O'Neal's "Basketball Wives."
