To celebrate her daughter, Riley Burruss’ upcoming journey at New York University, Kandi Burruss threw her a mini bash.

The 17-year-old looked as happy as a clam as she smiled and carried her siblings, Blaze and Ace Tucker, in both arms. For the party, Riley rocked a black round neck top which had some animated images on it.

To ensure she was on the right path, Kandi landed her daughter an internship with an entertainment lawyer last year.

She paired the top with blue jeans and a black wig that came with a red-colored front. Her hands weren’t left out as she flashed her blue-painted nails and massive bling at the camera.

As for her siblings, Blaze was decked in a red and white gown while her elder brother looked dapper in a black tracksuit. Kandi’s enthusiasm could be felt through her words as she exclaimed in the caption:

“My babies! One is leaving the nest & the other two are just getting started!”

The excited mother-of-three also shared a close-up look at the custom cookie tray she made in Riley's honor. While some of the cookies followed the NYU theme, the others were covered with images of the blended family.

The send-off comes many months after Riley broke the news that she got into NYU which was her first choice. As she noted that she has had a lifelong plan to attend the prestigious university, the 17-year-old gushed:

“This is such a huge step in my path of being an entertainment lawyer and a huge city with so many opportunities.”

To ensure she was on the right path, Kandi landed her daughter an internship with an entertainment lawyer last year. The gig which was in New York City meant that Riley would have to find an apartment to live in. Luckily, her mother came to the rescue and found her Manhattan apartment that rented for $5,547 a month.

Asides the breathtaking views, the two-bedroom high-rise was fitted with a dining area, a state-of-the-art kitchen, and a shared rooftop. That wouldn’t be the first time that Kandi would spoil her daughter.

For her 16th birthday, the singer-songwriter surprised her with a 2018 Porsche. Kandi gave the car which was decorated in true Burruss fashion a day before Riley's birthday.
