Debbie Allen Melts Hearts Posing with Her Adorable Granddaughter in a Dress & Ballet Slippers

Debbie Allen was an image of a doting grandma in her new Instagram post where she held her granddaughter, Shiloh, and posed for the camera. The ladies look so adorable together!

Of all of the roles that Debbie Allen has carried out throughout the years, being a grandmother has to be her favorite one so far. The doting grandma just cannot get enough of her cute grandbaby.

In a brand new Instagram photo, the 70-year-old held her granddaughter Shiloh as she sat on the floor. The little one looked cute in a blue outfit and a purple netted headband with a flower on top.

THE APPLE OF HER GRANDMA'S EYES

In the caption, Allen shared how she and her granddaughter will be celebrating Grandparent's Day with the "Love Is Grand" campaign by "Aspercreme," an ointment used to treat minor aches and pains. She further wrote:

"I'm grateful that I'm able to spend so much time with her. We swim, bike ride, run around together..."

SHILOH'S ARRIVAL

Allen's daughter, Vivian Nixon, and her man, Jazzston Williams, welcomed Shiloh on February 7, 2019. The one-year-old has been the apple of her family's eyes ever since. After all, she is Allen's first grandchild.

It is amazing how Allen manages to spend time with her grandbaby with a schedule as jam-packed as hers.

Announcing the birth of his daughter on Instagram, Vivian's man shared a few snapshots of her and their baby daughter on February 9. Expressing his happiness upon being a father, he wrote:

"God, we will not disappoint! We’ve been in LOVE since the pregnancy test. LOVE you Shiloh Elizabeth aka 'Little Lady.'"

DEBBIE IS A DOTING GRANDMA

The day Shiloh came into the world was one of the best days of her grandma's life. She was happier than words could tell and was loving every second of it. Over a year later, her love for the little one is even stronger.

It is amazing how Allen manages to spend time with her grandbaby with a schedule as jam-packed as hers. But it is no surprise since she has always been the one to value family over anything else.

DEBBIE'S HAPPY FAMILY

Besides Vivian, Allen is a doting mother to her two sons, Norman and DeVaughn Nixon. She and her husband, former NBA player Norm Nixon, have been married for over three decades and cherish their family.

Back in April, the couple celebrated 36 years of marriage. To commemorate the special milestone, Allen took a walk down memory lane with a few throwback snapshots and called Nixon her forever dance partner.
