LisaRaye McCoy Loves to Dote on Her Adorable Granddaughter —See Their Sweet Moments Together

LisaRaye McCoy’s granddaughter, Bella Rae, is often the star of the actress’ Instagram posts, including several sweet moments of the two bonding.

Bella Rae is her grandmother, LisaRaye McCoy's mini-me in several Instagram posts which is why it will no longer come as a surprise if she chooses the same path in the entertainment industry.

McCoy often shows her fans how active and talented Bella is on social media while doing entertaining activities with the “Single Ladies” star.

A STAR IN THE MAKING

In one of her posts, she and her little angel were twinning in a white jacket, white skirt, and white sandals while walking by the corridors with both hands on their hips.

Not only does Bella know how to walk the runway, but she also knows how to treat herself like a star through shopping and pamper days. In a post, the actress captured her granddaughter’s shopping moment with too many bags to carry at the mall.

In another post, the “The Player’s Club” star captured her adorable mini-me having her nails done while lying down with her eyes closed. “By any means for @babybellarae self care is important right?” her caption asked.

BONDING WITH GRANDMA

The grandmother-granddaughter duo undoubtedly has an incredible bond and spend as much time as possible together. Among the activities that take up their days is face painting where Bella learns to draw lines, and cooking.

McCoy documented her experience getting a swab test and shared it with her followers.

McCoy also sometimes takes her granddaughter to special events including Bill Pickett’s 25th annual rodeo and the American Black Film Festival 2020 where they wore matching white dresses with pears in the middle.

WELCOMING BABY BELLA

Bella is the daughter of McCoy’s only daughter, Kai Morae and her boyfriend, Joe. Kai was born in 1989 to the actress and motivational speaker Kenji Pace. Although her parents never tied the knot, they remained on good terms for their daughter.

As a first-time grandmother, the “All of Us” star prepared for Bella’s coming by throwing Kai a baby shower at the House of Macau in Los Angeles. In 2016, her bundle of joy was born.

Through the years, McCoy, who owns a clothing line, has imparted knowledge and love to baby Bella, teaching her about fashion and creativity in the simplest ways.

BACK TO WORK

Recently, McCoy went back to work after a hiatus due to the pandemic. As part of the safety precautions set for taping, the actresses needed to have a coronavirus test.

McCoy documented her experience getting a swab test and shared it with her followers to spread knowledge and awareness of the procedure needed to be safe from the virus.

In the clip, a long cotton swab was used to take samples from her nostrils to be taken for observation. Luckily, the tests came out negative, allowing the actress to get back to work.
