Marie Osmond Reflects on Her Birthday Celebration & Showed off a Cake from Olivia Newton-John

Iconic entertainer Marie Osmond celebrated her 61st birthday in a unique way as she made the special occasion a visiting time for her loved ones across states.

Television personality Marie Osmond is grateful for another year, but at the same time, Osmond noted that her new age called for reflection as she gave fans updates on her life.

In a lengthy post on Instagram, the "Dancing With The Stars" alum recalled how she has been on the road in the past week making trips to reconnect with her children and grandchildren.

Marie shared two photos in honor of her new age. The first image was a gorgeous photo of her photographed while performing on stage. The words on the image read, "Life is like a camera, just focus on what's important…"

In September, fans received news that [Osmond's] contract was not renewed for her stint on "The Talk."

The next photo showed Osmond's vegan chocolate birthday cake baked with love by her friend, Olivia Newton-John, who she appreciated with a thank you note in her caption. Osmond addressed her fans:

"This birthday week was spent going to see ALL my children, their spouses, my grandchildren, and my dearest friend, Olivia Newton-John…"

The "Paper Roses" crooner quoted a bible verse from the book of John, which documented the issue of trials and tribulations. She likened it to the current issues around the world and how people should find a way to carve positivity through it all.

The "Donny & Marie" alum noted that once people realise that they are not alone, there is a feeling of hope and peace of mind amid the crisis. Osmond emphasized the need for optimism in "this strange time" which she assured fans will pass.

For her birthday, the star received a luxury pair of earrings custom designed by Loriann Jewelry. The organic gemstones were uniquely stringed together to tease a sultry look.

In September, fans received news that the 61-year-old TV personality's contract was not renewed for her stint on "The Talk." It was reported that Osmond's views were often conservative and differed most times from her co-hosts.

Osmond does not seem bothered about the development as she seemed to move on. In the same month, she went all out on her friend, Newton-John's birthday. On Instagram the singer and philanthropist shared a photo of her and Newton-John cozying up and smiling for the camera. Osmond made sure to remind her lovely friend of her affection in the caption.

Just a day before her own birthday, Osmond and her family celebrated her little grandson, Maxwell's second birthday. The toddler's big day was commemorated in a country-themed party that had him glammed up in cowboy outfits.

Many of the guests rocked cowboy hats as they induced in the delicacies and jolly time. On her Instagram page, Osmond shared details of the event to her admiers's delight.
