'Yellowstone' Actor Brecken Merrill Announces He Has Finished Filming for Season 4
The youngest member of the "Yellowstone" cast, Brecken Merrill, thanked the cast and crew as he wrapped up filming for the fourth season of the popular Paramount Network television series.
During the first three seasons of "Yellowstone," the show's character dynamics, storyline, and action-filled drama made it a hit among viewers, who are anxiously awaiting the start of season 4. According to a recent update by the show's youngest cast member, they are making headway.
Brecken Merrill plays the role of Tate Dutton, the son of Monica and Kayce Dutton, and he happily announced that he "wrapped" filming for the upcoming season of the popular show.
WHEN WILL SEASON 4 AIR?
Posting a slideshow of images to social media, Merrill used the opportunity to thank everyone he worked with and share his feelings. Young Merrill smiled broadly alongside several co-stars and expressed his joy in the caption as he wrote:
"That’s a wrap on Tate for @yellowstone season 4!! Thank you so much to the cast and crew. I love you all!!"
The filming of the upcoming season got delayed due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but on August 21, the ranch used in the series, Chief Joseph Ranch, confirmed that they had begun.
Even though Season 4 is expected to air in June 2021 (as the previous seasons all premiered in June), it is unknown whether it put the entire project behind schedule. No official premiere date is yet available.
MERRILL'S FAVORITE MOMENTS
While Merrill didn't divulge any details about the upcoming season, he did recently share his favorite moments portraying the role of Tate on the Paramount Network series. Tate idolizes his dad Kayce, and he enjoyed portraying the role, but one thing really stands out for him, as he gushed:
"It's really fun riding horses, I actually have a specific horse I like to ride."
SEASON 4
The season 3 finale left viewers dangling from the edge of their seats as every Dutton family member found themselves in life-threatening situations. Family patriarch John got shot, and so did Kayce, a bomb detonated in Beth's office, and everything ended without explanation.
Even though fans will have to wait for season 4's premiere to find out the Dutton family's fate, their ties will be tested in the new season as they work their way through the new dynamics that surfaced during the finale of season 3.

Actor Cole Hauser, who portrays the role of John's right hand on the ranch, Rip Wheeler, also recently shared a picture taken during filming as he teased the upcoming season.
Letting fans know that the time had come for him to get to work, Hauser posted a stunning landscape picture featuring members of the cast next to each other on their horses.
