The cause of his death hasn’t yet been revealed and the police are still investigating the case. However, reports have stated that the authorities don’t believe there was any foul play in the case.
Bobby Jr.’s older half-brother, Landon, appeared to confirm the news of the aspiring musician’s death on Instagram. Landon shared a photo of his younger brother in prayer and captioned it:
“I love you forever King.”
Bobby Jr. is the son of R&B singer Bobby Brown Sr., 51, and his mother is the singer’s ex-girlfriend Kim Ward. In July 2015, the Brown family was struck by tragedy again when the “My Prerogative” musician lost his daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22.
Bobby Sr. shared his late daughter with the famous late singer Whitney Houston. Before the singer married Houston, he was dating Ward and besides Bobby Jr., they also had a daughter named La’Princia.
La’Princia was born first in 1989 and Bobby Jr. was welcomed a few years later in 1991. Besides his sister, Bobbi, and Landon, the late aspiring musician also had three other half-siblings.

Bobby Sr. had Landon in 1986 with Melika Williams. With his current wife, Alicia Etheredge, the R&B singer has three children, son Cassius, 11, and daughters Bodhi Jameson Rein, 5, and Hendrix Estelle Sheba Brown, 4, (who was welcomed in 2016).
Before Bobby Jr. passed away he was trying to follow in his father’s footsteps by becoming a musician. In September 2020, he released the song “Say Something” in a teaser video clip on his Instagram account.
The late aspiring star was super close to his sister La’Princia. He appears in many photos on her Instagram page and he’s also shared some images of her on his own account.
Bobby Sr. is famous for being a member of the R&B group New Edition. In 1985, he quit the group and started his solo career with song releases like “Two Can Play That Game” and “Every Little Step.”
He was married to Houston from 1992 until they divorced in 2007. At one point while they were still a couple, the famous singers appeared together in the reality show “Being Bobby Brown.”
Houston sadly died at the age of 48 on February 11, 2012. She passed away after she accidentally drowned in the bathtub, but her cocaine use and heart disease also contributed to her untimely death.
