Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, were all about their oldest son, Zaire, in new media shared as they commemorated his 19th birthday, praising his achievements.
NBA alum Dwyane Wade and his star wife, Gabrielle Union, had the warmest posts up on Instagram in honor of their oldest son, Zaire, who recently turned a year older.
Union's Instagram share pulled at fans' heartstrings, as she shared a lovely snapshot of the birthday boy looking all grown and stylish while he posed with the rest of their family.
With the all-white theme, Union rocked a ribbed-knit outfit as her spouse held on to one of her hands. Standing next to her was her transgender step-daughter, Zaya, while Zaire posed in a jeans-and-shirt outfit.
The baby of the house, Kaavia James, did not feature in the family portrait, but everyone looked radiant smiling for the camera and looking picture-perfect. The happy mom gushed in her caption:
"Happy Birthday @Zaire. I cannot believe you are 19!?!? So proud of the man you have become, your work ethic, your heart…"
In his post, Wade could not hold back on the rush of pride as he fawned over his oldest child. He shared a photo of the young chap posing indoors. He noted that Zaire's day would be better celebrated at a later time.

In his revealing post, the doting dad held nothing back as he talked about the feelings that came with knowing your oldest child was growing older and hitting new milestones. Wade wrote:

The sports star explained that there were different ways to get into the NBA but he preferred that Zaire obtained a college education before fulfilling his basketball desires.
He relayed that he would be a passenger in his son's life, but an active one nonetheless, while Zaire was at the helm of affairs as the driver. The NBA icon noted that his part was to guide his son in his career choice.
