Chrissy Teigen Shares Pic of Stunning Afterparty Dress She Wore at Her Wedding with John Legend

Over the weekend, Chrissy Teigen uploaded three social media photos. The images included a red dress that she wore to her wedding afterparty when she tied the knot with John Legend.

Chrissy Teigen, 35, is not one to shy away from embarrassing moments. On Sunday, the television personality uploaded three throwback photos to her Instagram account.

In the post's caption, she explained that she was giving her followers a “photo dump” with the trio of images contending against each other. Two of the photos were from a Beyoncé concert.

In 2013, she got married to John Legend, now-42, in Lake Cuomo, Italy. One of the throwback pictures she shared in her recent post was a never-before-seen photo from her wedding afterparty.

In the image, the cookbook author was photographed lying in a bed while wearing her crimson red Vera Wang strapless mermaid gown. The dress was the third one the “Chrissy’s Court” star wore on that day.

She changed into it specifically for her afterparty. Initially, Teigen wore a strapless ivory Vera Wang dress when she said “I do” to Legend before changing into a second one for the reception.

The same fashion designer also created the third dress for the television personality. In her post's caption, she wrote "only photo post-wedding night” while referring to the gown's image.

The other photo in the reel showed her "drunk crying" while holding a beverage at a Beyoncé concert while the singer sang “Halo.” The last picture was also taken during the same event.

This time the television personality was photographed while posing with musician Nicki Minaj. She thanked the singer for allowing her to take the image with her that day.

The “Lip Sync Battle” host married Legend on September 14, 2013, in front of 125 guests. The event was a starstudded one with the likes of Quincy Jones, Kanye West, Brooklyn Decker, and Stevie Wonder.

Their reception meal included foods like prosciutto, Italian cheese, pasta, a beef dish, cured meat appetizers, and truffle risotto. Legend dedicated his song "All of Me” to his bride.

In October 2020, her husband paid tribute to her again, but this time at the Billboard Music Awards. The Grammy-winning artist dedicated his performance to her to honor the loss of their third child.

Teigen also teased herself ahead of Sunday’s Golden Globe Awards by sharing her iconic crying face meme from 2015. The photo was taken when Legend won Best Original Song for “Glory” from the film “Selma.”
