The granddaughter of the late James Bond star Sean Connery is set to be somebody's bond-girl as she announced her engagement to her fiancé Phillip Thomas Muhr via a post on Instagram.

Saskia Connery's fascinating photo with Muhr showed them sitting on a bench at the beach with their eyes locked on each other. The lovebirds smiled sweetly at each other as their noses touched.

The soon-to-be bride's long hair was let all the way down with her blinding engagement ring in view. Her message suggested that it was the place they first met. The photo's caption partly read:

"The love of my life, man of my dreams and best friend, got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever... YES YES YES!!!!"

Saskia then professed her undying love for Muhr, affirming that no one else makes her feel the way he does. She expressed her joy at spending forever with him as well-wishers camped in the comment section to congratulate them.

The couple's engagement news comes nearly six months after the death of Saskia's grandfather.

The lovebirds are no strangers to flaunting their romance to the world through social media. Last May, the power couple gave fans a glimpse into their luxurious quarantine at the Connery family home in The Bahamas.

Saskia, an established fashion entrepreneur, uploaded photos of her and her beau enjoying a dip in the sea. According to reports, Muhr is the heir of the Australian banking and bottle water empire behind the Hallstein Artesian Water brand.

It comes as no surprise that the 32-year-old multimillionaire popped the question in The Bahamas as the island holds a special meaning for the Connery family. She tagged a place around Nassau, the Bahamas, on her Instagram post called Lyford Cay Club.

The couple's engagement news comes nearly six months after the death of Saskia's grandfather. The legendary actor passed away at the age of 90 in October last year at his Lyford Cay home in the Bahamas.

According to his death certificate, the original James Bond actor died from pneumonia and heart failure. Sean left behind left four children — one biological son, Jason, and three adopted kids from his union with Micheline Roquebrune.
