Usher is set to launch his Las Vegas residency on July 16, and he let Lahmers in on it. He said he has wanted to do it for many years, and this is a good time to make it happen.

The celebrated singer said he has been preparing for the residency, and hosting the iHeart Radio Music Awards would be like a warm-up to what fans should expect in July.

Usher shares Sovereign with his girlfriend, Jenn Goicoechea. The lovebirds announced they were expecting a second child during the iHeart Radio Music Awards. The couple walked the awards show's red carpet, with Goiceochea showing off her baby bump while wearing a black gown.
