After a road rage shooting in NorthEast DC that left a mother injured and her kids traumatized, police successfully recovered what appeared to be the Maserati used in committing the crime.

Seagraves stated that the police had identified Kenneth Davis Jr., who is 42 years old, as the suspect. The police have declared Davis wanted and are offering up to a $10,000 reward to anyone with any information that can lead to his arrest.

He is wanted for assault with a dangerous weapon (a gun). As seen in the image shared, Davis is a Black male, approximately 6'4, and weighs over a hundred and eighty pounds. He also possesses grey and white hair.

[T]he suspect felt it was necessary to deal with his anger through gun violence.

Speaking to News4, the victim of the attack narrated that she was driving in the 1600 Block of Eastern Avenue NE when she attempted to get in front of the Maserati.

Confirmed by the surveillance footage, the driver alighted from the car and began shooting at the mother-of-two. The bullets flew into the car through the rear window on the driver's side.

The mother's 5-year-old and 11-year-old children were sitting near the driver's side. Metropolitan Police Department Chief, Robert Contee, revealed that the younger child was cut by the glass while the woman got shot in the shoulder.

Before Davis was identified, Contee explained that the suspect felt it was necessary to deal with his anger through gun violence. However, he was there to let him know it was unacceptable.

The 42-year-old's silver Maserati was seized and towed from a townhouse in the Maryland City of Hyattsville on June 2, 2021. With the reward in waiting, the victim is hopeful that the shooter will be caught.

The grandmother of the traumatized children was grateful to God. She explained that she was glad God sent his angels to keep watch of her grandchildren.

It is quite a relief that the mother is recovering from her gunshot injury very well at home. She is also thankful to be living and for the safety of her children.
