Yasmine Al-Bustami has appeared on some of the most-watched TV shows, and yet, she's managed to maintain a pretty private life away from the silver screens.

Yasmine Al-Bustami is well known for starring in shows such as CBS.' "S.W.A.T," ABC's "Nashville," CW's "The Originals," and Netflix's "You Get Me." Currently, she is playing Lucy Tara in "NCIS: Hawai'i."

Born in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, the actress's family moved to Texas when she was three. And while she prides herself on being of Filipino and Jordanian-Palestinian descent, she considers herself an all-American girl

The actress made her film debut when she played Monique Deveraux in "The Originals" in 2013. The following year, she guest-starred in an episode of "Nashville" playing Delissa Birch.

In 2015, the "Flower" actress starred in an episode of "Switched at Birth" before landing a recurring role in season 2 of "The Inspectors." 2017 saw her appear in "You Get Me," then on the romantic musical comedy "I Ship It" playing Sasha.

She played Tommie on the live interactive sci-fi series "Orbital Redux" in 2018 and also had a part in the horror film "Reborn," playing Ingrid, Edie on the 2020 movie "Lucky," and Sasha on "Send It."

To add to her already impressive film résumé, Al-Bustami is currently playing on the CBS police procedural television series "NCIS:  Hawai'i." Lucy is a Texas native and a confident junior member of Tennant's NCIS team.

She is entirely committed to her role, is excited about her first assignment, and cannot wait to tackle a suspect down a flight of stairs, discover a key piece of evidence, or create a workaround in the bureaucracy.

She is part of Jane Tennant's team. Played by Vanessa Lachey, Tennant works a high-stress job in a male-dominated world and strives to balance her career and raise her children as a single mother.

Tennant broke the boundaries to become the first female SAC of "NCIS: Hawai'i" and does not take nonsense from anyone.

Al-Bustami has been a constant fixture on our screens since she debuted her film career in 2013, and yet, she has managed to keep her personal life private.

The actress does not appear to be dating based on a quick scroll through her social media. However, she loves spending her time country line dancing.

She also enjoys watching football and listening to Irish music. She is well-traveled and visited two world wonders; Giza Pyramids and Petra.

And while her life remains hidden away from the public eye, fans were more than happy to learn of her birthday. Following a post on "NCIS: Hawai'i's" official Twitter page asking fans to leave her a shout-out on her big day, fans did not disappoint.

They took to the comment section to wish the "Blurred Lines" actress many happy years to come and congratulate her on her outstanding role on the show and for representing strong women worldwide.
