Donovan has admitted that filming "Burn Notice" often felt like a prison to him as it reminded him of his challenging past. However, the silver lining is that he met his gorgeous wife on the show. He told the Build Series, as The Things reports:

"The people involved in that show were incredibly smart...but at the time (so many years on the same show) seemed like...a prison sentence...It changed everything. I met my future wife while shooting that."

DONOVAN IS A DOTING FATHER OF THREE

While Woods only had a minor role in the show, it was enough to steal the lead's heart, and in 2012, they tied the knot. A few months later, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Claire.

They have since expanded their family, welcoming their second child, Lucas, in 2014 and the third in 2017. Even after so many years, Donovan still heaps praises on his wife for being a wonderful mother to their children.
