We all recognize British actress Jodie Comer from her appearance as Elizabeth of York on "The White Princess," as Kate Parks on "Doctor Foster," and as Ivy Moxam on "Thirteen."

Besides her numerous award nominations and wins, British Vogue also listed her on "The Most Influential Girls of 2018." She appeared on Forbes's "30 Under 30" list a year later.

KEEPING HER LOVE LIFE PRIVATE

And yet, despite the popularity she has gained over the years, "The Last Duel" actress would rather her personal life stays private. She told Marie Claire Australia, as reported by Daily Mail:

"My personal life feels so sacred to me now, and it's something I want to protect no end. But yeah, I'm still there. Very, very much there."

The actress admitted to being in a relationship in 2018. However, she did not disclose her man's identity. Unfortunately, the romance was short-lived, and in 2019, she met James Burke, a man she says is different from the rest.

Comer met Burke in the summer of 2019 at a party while filming "Free Guy" in Boston. Burke allegedly works in tech and "isn't in the public eye at all." Since she began dating him, she says, "everything has fallen into place."

WHO IS BURKE?

And while we now know how she feels about her beau, we can't help but wonder who this Burke is in detail. According to GoPSUsport, Burke was born on March 31, 1994, in Duxbury, Massachusetts.

His parents are Jim and Chris Burke, and he has two younger brothers. He attended Duxbury High school, where he helped the lacrosse team to three state championships in 2009, 2011, and 2012.

He joined Pennsylvania State University, where, besides majoring in communication arts and sciences, he played 17 games in his first year, 13 in Sophomore, 11 in junior year, and 10 in senior year.

Burke appears to be the perfect match for Comer, and as she would later confess, this relationship was "different" from all the rest she'd been in before. Cosmopolitan reports her to have told Sunday Times Style:

"You know, I would never want to speak badly about people in my past, but yeah, this relationship feels very different. This feels like nothing else."

The relationship has since taken a more committed approach as the "Talking Heads" actress flew Burke to meet her parents in their home in Liverpool, UK. They had also shared photos that they have since deleted.
