HE DIDN'T SHARE HIS PROBLEMS

Lewis Harris was proud to have served in the Marine Corps, but as he reached his 80s, he had health struggles that prevented him from enjoying his old age.

He also experienced a significant decline in his quality of life but didn't want to burden others with his problems. While running errands one day in 2020, he suddenly forgot how to get home.

HE ASKED HIS WIFE FOR A FAVOR

Officer Toly was shocked that his new friend's home was dilapidated and needed renovation. Harris lived alone and couldn't keep his home in a pristine condition because of low energy and health constraints.

Thankfully, the police officer had an idea that left the veteran speechless. He knew someone that could help Harris, and she would be more than willing to assist. It was his wife, Tanya Nazariya.

IT WAS A BIG PROJECT

Tanya worked as an interior designer and could renovate the veteran's house effortlessly. She was eager to help and didn't limit herself. The home designer noted:

"I was like there is no point to finishing the cabinet. Rip it out. In that case, just rip out this wall. It just snowballed into a really big project."

"It almost brought me to tears, okay. I had a couple of drops there, it really touched my heart and my soul."
