Brad Pitt and his former wife, Angelina Jolie, share six children; one of them is their biological daughter, Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt. The couple's daughter was welcomed on May 27, 2006.

She was born at the Cottage Hospital in Swakopmund, Namibia, Africa. The country happened to be where her family had been spending some time for a few months when she was born.

According to People magazine, Shiloh immediately fit in with her large family. A year after her birth, Angelina addressed what it was like having the little girl, confessing how Shiloh reminded her of herself, stating:

"Shi's so full of light and love, she's just a little honey, and very, very funny. I think I'm recognizing some of myself in that one — she's going to be a little bit of trouble!"

THE CONFUSION SHILOH BROUGHT ABOUT WHETHER SHE WAS A BOY OR A GIRL

In November 2008, Brad appeared on Oprah Winfrey's show for an interview where he spoke about Shiloh and his other children. At the time, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" actor's daughter was only 2½ years old.

Her father revealed that Shiloh wanted to be called Peter or John. Brad explained that whenever they used her nickname, "Shi," the little girl would insist that her name was John and would only respond to it.

The actor hilariously recalled how he'd ask his daughter, "John, would you like some orange juice?" and Shiloh would reply, "No!" He admitted that he and Angelina found the new quirk cute.

However, he figured it probably came off as obnoxious to other people. In 2010, Angelina told Reuters that when Shiloh was growing up, she'd thought of herself as "one of the brothers," and the family supported her fashion choices, with the "Wanted" actress noting:

"I think she is fascinating, the choices she is making. And I would never be the kind of parent to force somebody to be something they are not. I think that is just bad parenting."

The little girl would wear clothes meant to be worn by boys instead of those made for girls. The reason why her parents allowed her to do so was because of Angelina's viewpoints, where she stated:

"Children should be allowed to express themselves in whatever way they wish without anybody judging them because it is an important part of their growth."

The actress felt society had to get past how we labeled and judged each other. She thought we still had far to go with learning about individual representation.

According to a Life & Style source, Brad was proud of his six children but shared a special relationship with Shiloh. The insider claimed the father-daughter duo "truly have an unbreakable bond."

The source alleged that part of what formed the bond was that the pair shared the "same passions." Brad also made a point to spend time with all his children despite his ongoing custody battle and separation from Angelina.

The "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" actor would allegedly see his children in a private setting. Besides Shiloh, Brad's other children are Maddox, Vivienne, Knox, Zahara, and Pax; however, the star was "particularly close to Shiloh."

According to the insider, Brad and Shiloh had a fun, loving, and authentic relationship, and the pair were "cut from the same cloth." In the past, the actor had gushed about his love for all his children.

However, his closeness with his daughter was based on their shared interests. The Life & Style source claimed the pair bonded over playing music, watching movies, and spending time together in his art studio, where they got to be creative.

Brad also supported Shiloh in anything she did, including her passion for dancing. The insider claimed that "Brad never puts pressure on Shiloh and encourages her to pursue her dreams," adding:

“She feels comfortable talking to her dad about anything.”

Hamilton Evans, Doja Cat's video choreographer, was the one who posted the clip in June 2022. In it, Shiloh got to show off her dance moves alongside other Millennium Dance Complex dancers.

The YouTube viral video showed Angelina's 16-year-old daughter rocking her moves around the 2-minute, 30-second mark. Reports revealed that Shiloh had started taking dance classes, and they were paying off.

According to an Us Weekly source, both Angelina and Brad were "very proud" of Shiloh. The insider claimed the famous parents had no problem with Shiloh going professional with her hobby, but they weren't pushing her either way.

Besides Evans' video, Shiloh also went Tik Tok viral for videos where she showed off her hip-hop dance skills to tracks like "Shivers" by Ed Sheeran and Lizzo's "About Damn Time."

An Us Weekly source said the teenager loved dancing. The insider noted how Angelina and Brad's daughter was "seriously talented" and had been attending her dance classes for "a few years now."
