Facts We Know About Nicki Minaj's Siblings: She Has 3 Brothers and 1 Sister
Nicki Minaj's siblings grew up in an unstable household, first in Trinidad & Tobago, then in Queens. The performer dealt with the trauma by losing herself in music and many personas, such as Cookie and Barbie.
One of Nicki Minaj's siblings has made headlines for very wrong reasons. Because of his misdeeds, something as innocent as a super selfie of the rapper bowling with the family will cause rare backlash from her devoted fans, The Barbz.
The physical resemblance between the rapper and her half-sister is a significant source of interest on the Internet. The teenager does not capitalize on the name recognition and is likelier to collaborate with a cousin than her superstar sister on TikTok.

Nicki Minaj and Her Siblings Had Painful Childhoods
Minaj has four known siblings, brothers: Micaiah Maraj and Jelani Maraj and half-siblings: Brandon Lamar and Ming Maraj. The rapper was born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago until the family relocated to Queens, New York, when she was five.
The season 12 "American Idol" judge revealed in an interview that the family did not want her father, Robert Maraj, around as he was an abusive addict. When they first moved to America, she prayed every day to God for the means to provide for her mom so she could leave him.
According to the star, the Maraj patriarch sold the family's positions to fuel his habit. On one occasion, he set their house on fire while Carol Maraj was still inside. He said his daughter's claims were exaggerated, and the two have reconciled in recent years.

The "The Boys" rapper's siblings keep a low profile. When they are on social media, they do not publicize their familial connection with Minaj.
In September 2016, she jokingly tried to crowdsource her brother Micaiah a date on Twitter. The big sister pondered if she should increase his chances of finding a new girlfriend by throwing a party only inviting girls in his age range.
The perfect new girlfriend for Caiah, as she calls him, is "pleasant, ambitions, and understanding." The "Megatron" star specified that all races were welcome to send their applications to the hypothetical party.
Big sister Nicki Minaj Is Secretive about Ming Maraj
The Barbz were shocked when their queen revealed that she was not the only girl in the family. She tweeted snaps of a smiling Ming in June 2013 with the hashtags "little sisters rock" and "Ming."
Minaj did not divulge more about her half-sister on her father's side that day, shutting down inquiries and declining to explain further. In a now-deleted social media post, Nicki the Harajuku Barbie wished her sister a happy birthday on January 7, 2021.
Reportedly 15 in 2021, Ming has an Instagram following of 124K and 1.4 million likes on her TikTok account under the moniker mingluanli. The teenager takes part in dance and singing challenges on social media.
On Instagram Live in 2021, Ming answered questions about how much her new braces hurt. The tone became more personal when asked if she supports LGBTQ. She said, "Girl… I am LGBTQ. I am the B," and started singing the bridge of "I'm bisexual - a coming out song!" by dodie.
The GenZer realized that she was bisexual when she met her first girlfriend, "a cool person," who she dated for a few months. The teen coolly shut down questions about her sister:
"Yes, please stop. It gets annoying. […] Y'all don't know what it's like for someone in my position."
One of Her Brothers Followed in Nicki's Footsteps
Lamar's dormant YouTube channel identifies himself as an "internationally known rapper, singer, producer, and skater." He released his only full-length album, "Double Edged Sword," in 2009.
Weeks after bailing out her brother from jail, Nicki Minaj posted a photo with him and a few other family members.
The rapper took his big sister Nicki Minaj's lead in personal branding by dubbing his supporters the "Lamartions." His track "Lock That Down" is set over an image of Eva Mendes.
Lauren Marie Falcon and the rapper have been dating since at least 2019. The couple welcomed their son, Brandon Lamar Carter II, in August 2021. He posted a series of videos called "Daddy Daughter Adventures" about his daughter from another relationship, Hammer.
The rapper was reunited with the man he calls his "real dad," Rufus, after a separation of 25 years, who he credits for instilling his core values and character. Falcon hired a private investigator to track him down.
The dad of two showed off his transformation after three intensive months in the gym, proving that he is worthy of the new moniker he gave himself on TikTok, Black Thor.
Nicki Shared a Photo with Her Brother Who She Bailed Out of Jail
Weeks after bailing out her brother from jail, Nicki Minaj posted a photo with him and a few other family members with a Spanish caption roughly translated as "bowling with my family."
Jelani was charged with the rape of a minor under 13 in December 2015 and released on a $100,000 bail bond. The testimony of his stepson helped slam him with 25 years to life for the sexual assault of his stepdaughter.
Nicki was in attendance, wearing a red dress, when her brother married Jacqueline Robinson in upstate New York in August 2015. The rapper called the event one of her all-time favorite nights.
The wedding was very emotional for the star, who admitted to crying "like a punk" during his first dance and said: "May God blesses him and his union." The August 2015 post still gets disgusted comments from fans seven years later.
