The actor said that parenthood had a way of making him believe he was like the Grinch, but in the best way possible. He said becoming a father felt like the end of the movie when the Grinch's heart grew three sizes.

While he loves being a father, he does have one thing that makes him afraid, and that is bodily fluids. Yet those worries were all present before he became a father. When his children were born, he learned it was nowhere near as bad as he thought.

Regarding his parenting strategy, Damon says he raises his children to make their own mistakes and learn from them. He also admitted he is the epitome of an embarrassing father who dances around the kitchen, and his daughters don't consider him cool.
