Xolo Maridueña Had a Girlfriend among His Co-actors – Facts about His Personal Life

His on-screen displays have dominated Xolo Maridueña's life in the spotlight. However, he revealed some stories about his ex-girlfriends and dating life during interviews.

The rising actor, set to star in DC Comics' upcoming superhero movie, "Blue Beetle," does not share much about his personal life on Instagram, especially about his girlfriends. Nevertheless, his dating life is not a complete mystery.

Maridueña was once in a relationship with his "Cobra Kai" co-star Hannah Kepple. Additionally, he has conceded that he has been in three serious relationships. Rumors about a potentially new celebrity couple rose when his post about another of his co-stars, Bruna Marquezine, gave fans the idea that they may be dating.

Xolo Maridueña Dated His ‘Cobra Kai’ Co-star

In recent years, Maridueña, who featured in "Parenthood" alongside Dax Shepard, has been quiet about his personal life. The only girl, other than his relatives, he has dedicated a post to on his Instagram page in the last year was Marquezine. The heartfelt post celebrated the Brazilian actress's birthday on August 4, 2022.

Besides her acting prowess, Marquezine has also been in the spotlight due to her romantic relationship with global soccer star Neymar Jr. The pair had an on-and-off relationship lasting about six years, from 2012 to 2018 when the soccer player left Brazil for Spain.

Although Maridueña seems to be keeping more of his romantic life out of the public eye as he grows older, his "Cobra Kai" co-star Kepple announced that she was dating him in 2019 during a red carpet interview. Asked if she has a special bond with anyone behind the scenes, Kepple replied:

"Well, I am dating Xolo, who plays Miguel on the show. In season one, we actually were just friends, we were a little flirty, and then we started talking after season one, and I think it just kinda clicked."

Xolo Maridueña Once Had a Bad Date

During an interview with Teen Vogue, Maridueña recalled a date that went wrong for the actor. While speaking about how terrible a driver he is, the actor said he took his girlfriend on a date in Atlanta, and his car broke down in the middle of the road.

The girl's father had to come and help with jump-starting the car. When he was leaving, he took his daughter home with him. Unfortunately for Maridueña, the car broke down again on his way home. At the end of his story, he hilariously pointed out that he is a good driver now.

In another interview, Maridueña discussed his first on-screen kiss. Mary Mouser was that first kiss. However, that was not the first time the pair had kissed, as Maridueña explained they had kissed before while preparing for their kissing scene. Mouser did not want their first kiss to be on camera, so she suggested they do it off-screen.

Xolo Maridueña Cannot Be Alone

In 2022, Maridueña would spend some time away from acting doing a podcast, "Lone Lobos," with his friend Jacob Bertrand. On the show, the pair takes their audience into their world and discuss various topics such as films, television series, music, food, and relationships.

While discussing relationships, Maridueña, who stars alongside Ralph Macchio and Willam Zabka in "Cobra Kai," spoke about when he was 16 and decided that he wanted to date someone while on his three-month gap from acting.

Their discussion conceded that it is difficult for them to maintain a relationship for various reasons, including work which takes up much of their time. Still, Maridueña added that at some point, everyone requires a companion.

Maridueña being single is not due to a lack of trying. In another episode of their podcast, he revealed that he had already been in three serious relationships. Still, it doesn't seem like they lasted too long.
