In a recent Instagram post, Alan Ritchson gave fans a sneak peek at his and his family's travels to Turkey. The actor and his wife— with whom he shares three sons— have been married for over 15 years, and during an interview, he opened up about their wholesome meet-cute.

In the four-image Instagram post, the Ritchson family was joined by family friends on their trip to Kaş, Turkey, and the actor captured a sweet picture of him, his wife Cat, and his three sons smiling into the camera. In the last slide, Alan and Cat stood side by side with a beautiful view of what he humorously called "the world's tiniest beach" behind them.

Alan and Cat were high school sweethearts who met in ballet. Cat knew the way to her future husband's heart was through his stomach and used to bring him cookies before his performances. "Of course, I fell in love," he said.

The couple officially became husband and wife in 2006, and in 2021, he celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary with a throwback of them on their special day. "15 years ago today, two kids got married. They had no idea what splendid and terrible things lie ahead of them when they made that vow to remain each other's partner in life, come what may," he captioned the post in part.

Since then, Alan and Cat have welcomed three boys, Calem and Edan, and the youngest of the Ritchson bunch, Amory, born in 2015. The actor shared the news of his third son's birth on Instagram with a sweet black and white picture of his newborn, and his wife revealed that their little one's name means "brave & powerful."

"We chose his name to equip our third born to feel he could be as much of a leader as if he were the firstborn," she said. Cat's husband has made a name for himself in the acting industry for many years. Originally from North Dakota, Alan relocated to Los Angeles to chase his dreams and landed roles in "Blue Mountain State" and played Aquaman in the series "Smallville."

The actor has also appeared on the silver screen, featuring in "Catching Fire," the second installment of the "Hunger Games" franchise. He proved he was not a one-trick pony when he showed his comedic side in the pilot of "Super Fun Night" with Rebel Wilson, and in addition to acting, Alan Ritchson also is a singer who writes and produces music.
