Does Tom Blyth Have a Girlfriend? He Once Lived in a Cabin with His Significant Other

Film star Tom Blyth keeps details of his personal life to himself and has left room for speculation. He was once asked online whether he has a girlfriend.

Like many other celebrities, English actor Tom keeps his personal life under wraps. However, he once gave fans a glimpse into his life on social media.

Tom even got candid about his private life in a July 2022 interview where he briefly mentioned living with a significant other.

During the interview, he remarked on getting cast in the Western series, "Billy the Kid" and said when the lead role opportunity came, he was living as a nomad in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York:

"It was still the height of the pandemic, and so I was living with my girlfriend at the time in this little cabin in the woods. And we were chopping wood every day and keeping the fire going."

Tom Blyth does not usually open up about his private life. On his Instagram account, he mostly shares content related to his work. With over 40K Instagram followers, the "Benediction" star does not follow anyone on the platform.

Be that as it may, in February 2023, Tom posted a picture of a mystery woman standing in front of a wall with graffiti and captioned the black and white image, "What the monkey on the wall said," alongside a heart emoji.

When looking closely at the snap, the wall depicts a monkey saying, "I love you, baby." That evoked curiosity among Blyth's followers as someone in the comments section asked, "Do you really have a girlfriend, @tomblyth."

In the comments section, the person behind Tom's fan page answered the question. In reaction, the TV star quickly reminded his fans that he only had one Instagram page, avoiding answering whether he had a girlfriend (Fellow co-star Josh Hutcherson and actress Gina Gershon's love lives have also been of interest).

As for his acting career, Tom has yet to appear in bigger world-famous projects and will star in the 2023 "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbird and Snakes."

He previously appeared in the drama film, "Scott and Sid" (2018) and currently has a supporting role in the HBO show, "The Gilded Age," a historical drama that has been on air since 2022. He stars alongside actor Morgan Spector.

In an August 2022 interview, the Birmingham-born star was asked whether it had dawned on him that his life might change because "The Hunger Games" is a successful franchise with a huge fanbase. He said he tried not to think of it, adding he is kept "grounded" by family and friends.

After mentioning that he lived with a lover in isolation, Tom Blyth was asked who he would take with him to a deserted island.

The "Wash Club" star described the type of person he would want to be stuck with in the middle of nowhere while noting the pros and cons of that setup.

"It would have to be someone funny. If they're too funny, they could get a bit annoying after a while. But you could always banish them to the other side [of the island," he stated, adding:

"So, a great ridiculous, absurd comedian – someone like Jack Black. Someone who no matter what the situation was, they could manage to make it ridiculous."

Tom Blyth's Father Was Also Involved in Showbiz

Tom Blyth grew up with divorced parents. His father was British television producer Gavin Blyth. In 2002, Gavin, a journalist, became a senior publicist for the series, "Emmerdale," and worked his way up the ranks.

He sadly died on November 26, 2010, from lung cancer at age 41. At the time of his death, Gavin was married to Suzy Blyth, with whom he shares a son named Carter.

In addition, he also had two other kids from his previous marriage, Tom, and a daughter named Anya. Gavin's widowed wife, Suzy, posted a photo of his three kids beaming in May 2016 on Facebook.

Gavin was previously married to his first wife, Charlotte, with whom he welcomed Tom and his sister Anya after tying the knot in the 1990s.

According to Anya's Instagram bio, she is a personal trainer, and her mom's Facebook timeline is filled with photos of her and her brothers.

While her former husband was in show business, Charlotte, who graduated from Nottingham Trent University, has a different career path. She is a Careers Leader at The Wells Academy and was once thanked "for being a real force in raising student aspirations."
