The party, hosted at Las Vegas's Pure Nightclub, occurred at the end of October 2006 and was attended by some big names, including Adam Levine, Ryan Cabrera, and Chelsea Handler.

A few days before the party, the pair had dined together at the Social House restaurant and Bellagio's Fix in the company of several of their friends. Born on December 11, 1988, in La Porte, Indiana, Hinshaw entered the world of showbiz as a teenager when she moved to New York to pursue careers in modeling and acting. Her first taste of professional modeling was in national campaigns for brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch.

In 2009, she debuted in a TV series with a one-episode appearance as Blonde in "Fringe." That has been followed by several more TV series appearances, many of which were single-episode cameos. However, she did have extended runs in "StartUp" and "The Arrangement," with six and seven episodes, respectively.

News of a child began spreading after they were photographed on their way to lunch on July 15, 2017, with a baby bump noticeable. Shortly after, Hinshaw confirmed the news via her Instagram: "When you're 6 ½ months pregnant, and someone else does your hair/makeup/wardrobe."
