Louis Introduced His Son Freddie in 2016

Louis Tomlison's son was born in Los Angeles on January 21, 2016. The "What Makes You Beautiful" singer shared the news of his son's arrival via his Twitter page. "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday. He is healthy and pretty amazing. I'm very happy!!"

Before Freddie's arrival, a mutual friend of Jungwirth and Louis revealed that the singer was happy and excited to become a dad. Though their friend admitted that the pregnancy news came as a surprise, he noted that the two were close friends, and the news about them becoming parents brought them closer.

Freddie's parents first crossed paths in 2015 after being introduced by mutual friends. They briefly dated in May 2015, following Louis' breakup with his ex-girlfriend model Eleanor Calder that March.

In July of the same year, People Magazine reported that Louis and Los Angeles-based stylist Jungwirth were expecting their first child, Freddie, born in January 2016. Jungwirth and her family reportedly nicknamed Louis Tomlison's son a "miracle baby" and a "gift from God."

Even though Freddie Reign Tomlinson's parents had a custody battle when he was young, the two reached an agreement where they both get to spend time with him. Freddie has been a source of joy to Louis since he came into his life.

The singer is optimistic about his son's future and revealed he would love him to play football. Even so, he stated during an interview that he wouldn't make his son follow a specific career path but instead leave him to do what he is passionate about.

Even though Louis lives in the U.K., he said in an interview he had another place in Los Angeles which helps him be close to his son who lives with his mother, Jungwirth. The U.K based singer then joked about how he was trying hard to teach his son to get the British accent but admitted it was tough.

Louis Was 'Really Emotional' after His Son Freddie Watched Him Perform for the First Time

When Freddie watched his dad perform on stage for the first time, the singer said it was a special moment for him. He spoke about the show, noted it was a special one for him, and revealed that he kept thinking about it while on stage.

He said performing before his son was the most nervous he had ever been on stage. He admitted that his son was excited to see him perform until the show ended at 11 and was having a good time considering the fact that he goes to bed by seven.

Still, at the back of Louis' mind, it was the first time his son was seeing him perform, so he wanted to put his best foot forward and ensure he delivered. While performing, he said he got emotional when he locked eyes with Freddie.

"I got really emotional as well the first time I kinda locked eyes with him in the room," he said while noting that he asked Freddie for a review of his performance afterward; all he did was shake his shoulders and said it was great.

Freddie Is Already Grown Up

Louis Tomlinson's son has since grown up, and per his grandmother's (Jungwirth's mother's) Instagram page, the two share a close bond. He occasionally hangs out with her, and she shares their fun moments.
