Does Tom Burke Have a Wife? The Actor Is Not Married, Yet He May Not Be Single
Tom Burke prefers to keep his love life out of the public eye, making it difficult to know if he has a wife or a girlfriend. However, he has spoken about his dating life at least once before.
The English actor is a veteran of over sixty movie and television productions in a career that began in 1999. Tom rose to prominence through his portrayal of Athos in "The Musketeers" from 2014 to 2016 and later as Cormoran Strike in the BBC's "Strike," where he has fantastic chemistry with co-star Holliday Grainger.
Despite his rise in popularity and being part of a family of famous actors, Tom has remained adamant about keeping his personal life away from the cameras. His parents, David Burke, and Anna Calder-Marshall, have been heavily involved in the performing arts for decades, and he is also the godson of the late Alan Rickman.

Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger's Amazing On-Screen Chemistry in 'Strike' Sparks Speculation about Their Relationship
Viewers of "Strike," a television series adapted from J. K. Rowling's ongoing crime fiction novel, "Cormoran Strike," has praised the show and the excellent chemistry of the two leading characters, Tom and Holliday. Fans have taken to Twitter to voice their appreciation of the two talented actors.
Jessica remarked, "Finished watching Strike Troubled Blood, and wow, Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger continue to impress me." Another user, Teng Kiat, commented, "Strike is GREAT. Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger have terrific chemistry," while Ellen Drowne said:
"What a joy it is that #Strike is back on the TV. The chemistry between Tom Burke and Holliday Grainger is insane. Brilliant casting."

Despite the great chemistry, the actors have been stuck in a will-they-won't-they on-screen relationship, demonstrating some physical and emotional elements between them. However, the pair are adamant that a love story involving their characters wouldn't work.
Tom noted that although he can imagine them being together, sustaining it as an exciting thing for the audience will be challenging. The pair also share good laughs off-screen, although Tom sarcastically referred to their working relationship as "terrible" while Holliday jokingly mentioned finding him "immensely annoying."
Nevertheless, the incredible chemistry has not translated into a real-life coupling as some would have imagined, and Holliday even noted that she doesn't fancy him. In addition, in May 2021, she reportedly welcomed twins with her partner of more than five years, Luke Treadway.

Tom Burke Is Very Protective of His Personal Life
Like many celebrities who prefer separation between their professional and personal lives, Tom is very secretive about his love life. He does not publicly address the topic of his romantic partners and is not on social media.
However, in an interview with Tatler in 2018, Tom alluded to being in a relationship with someone in the same work industry for over two years. He did not reveal the identity of that special somebody. Still, he mentioned that they were not planning on having kids partly because of his lifelong dream of opening a theater company.
With the identity of his partner shrouded in mystery, there has been speculation that it might be his "The Musketeers" co-star Alexander Dowling, as they were seen together on multiple occasions between 2016 and 2018. However, they have yet to speak about those rumors, and it is unsure if Tom is still with the same partner from 2018.

Tom's godparents were superstar Alan Rickman and actress Bridget Turner. Tom spoke about his relationship with Alan, saying they were like family, and confirmed that the legendary actor significantly influenced him.
Speaking to The Guardian in October 2022, Tom noted, "Even if you only met him once, he could become a momentary huge influence in your life. He had a way of asking very penetrating questions, often without necessarily meaning to. People would walk away and make quite big life decisions."
