Finding true love turned into a journey for some Hollywood celebrities, who have taken multiple trips down the aisle in search of their forever after, and have all committed to wedded bliss more than five times.

Talking about his handful of marriages, singer Kenny Rogers blamed himself and his love for music for his failed unions, to the extent of calling his career choice his "mistress."

As for Nicolas Cage, he insisted that his fifth wife was "it" for him and vowed that another marriage wouldn't happen again.

From Elizabeth Taylor to Larry King, these notable figures have said "I do" at least five times.

Zsa Zsa Gabor

Zsa Zsa Gabor, the unforgettable Hungarian-American actress, was a serial bride who walked down the aisle no less than nine times. Her first trip to the altar was in 1935 with Burhan Asaf Belge, but their marriage ended in 1941. Next came Conrad Hilton in 1942, whom she was wed to for five years.

Gabor later tied the knot with George Sanders in 1949 until the pair's separation in 1954. Her marriage to Herbert Hutner lasted from 1962 to 1966. The icon and Joshua S. Cosden Jr.'s union only lasted a year from 1966 to 1967. Meanwhile, her union with Jack Ryan was from 1975 until 1976. The starlet married Michael O'Hara in 1976 but the duo split in 1983.

Felipe de Alba was her eighth husband for only a day in 1983. Gabor's last marriage was to Frédéric Prinz von Anhalt in 1986, which lasted until her death in 2016.

Larry King

Broadcasting titan Larry King also had a staggering eight marriages to seven women. His nuptial journey began in 1952 with high school sweetheart Freda Miller, but their marriage was annulled the following year.

His subsequent spouses included Annette Kaye, who he married in 1961. He wed Alene Akins twice, first in 1961 but the relationship ended in 1963, and then in 1968 which also ended in 1971. His fifth marriage was to Mickey Sutphin in 1964 which eventually ended in 1967.

King exchanged vows with Sharon Lepore in 1976. After their divorce in 1983, he married Julie Alexander (1989-1992), and then Shawn Southwick from 1997 to 2019.. King and Southwick were in the midst of divorce proceedings at the time of his death in 2021.

Elizabeth Taylor

Elizabeth Taylor had an eventful life that included not just a successful acting career but also eight marriages. At 18, she tied the knot with Conrad Hilton, Jr. in 1950, but they separated the following year. The actress was married to Michael Wilding from 1952 to 1957.

A month after the finalization of her divorce, she wed Mike Todd, who tragically passed in 1958. She moved on with Eddie Fisher from 1959 until 1964. She was married to Richard Burton a couple of times, from 1964 until 1974 and from 1975 to 1976.

Taylor's seventh husband was John Warner, whom she'd been with from 1976 to 1982. Lastly, she married Larry Fortensky in 1991, only for the pair to divorce in 1996.

Richard Pryor

Comedian Richard Pryor's rollercoaster love life saw him tying the knot seven times, with a couple of his wives he wed twice. His first union with Patricia Price was shortlived from 1961 to 1962. He then said "I do" with Shelley Bonis in 1967.

After their divorce in 1969, he moved on to Deborah McGuire (1977-1978), and then Jennifer Lee, who he wed twice, in 1981 to 1982 and 2001 to 2005. Pryor also married Flynn Belaine, from 1986 to 1987 and from 1990 to 1991.

Acclaimed actor Billy Bob Thornton, who's had six walks down the aisle, had his most high-profile marriage to Angelina Jolie from 2000 to 2003, putting a spotlight on his personal life more than ever.

Thornton's first foray to married life was with Melissa Lee Gatlin in 1978 until their divorce in 1980. His other ex-wives include Toni Lawrence, who he wed in 1986 and divorced in 1988, Cynthia Williams (1990-1992), and Pietra Dawn Cherniak (1993-1997).
