While some celebrities go under the knife to maintain a youthful appearance, Louis-Dreyfus fears plastic surgery. Even so, the actress admitted feeling burdened by Hollywood's youth-and beauty-obsessed culture-she doesn't quite feel it as she used to.
She admitted that there is an ageist and sexist culture in Hollywood, which she experienced. However, she said she does not plan on getting a facelift and is proud of her age. "I haven't done that; I don't have a plan to do that," she told People Magazine.
The actress then clarified that she was aware her words might be perceived as belittling to those who had done it, emphasizing that it was not her intention to do so. She continued, "My point is that I’m glad to be the age I am and to have had the career I’ve had and am now having."
Louis-Dreyfus also shared with the magazine that she likes to keep fit. She said she enjoys working out and also going for hikes.
The "You People" actress, who played alongside Johan Hill, Lauren London, and Eddie Murphy, reaffirmed that despite Hollywood pressures, she was still in the industry and pursuing her passion, adding that she intended to do so for a long time.

Louis-Dreyfus' youthful appearance is something fans can't get enough of. However, the actress shared the secrets to her ageless look, some of which can be attributed to a healthy lifestyle.
During an interview with New Beauty Magazine, Julia Louis-Dreyfus shared some tips for maintaining her shape and beauty. She shared that incorporating a facial cleansing device and a gentle cleanser into her daily routine helps keep her skin fresh and clean.

Additionally, she revealed her preference for using cream on her body and emphasized the importance of wearing sunscreen. The actress also attributed her healthy skin to drinking plenty of water.
Although she admitted her dislike for removing makeup before bed, she emphasized that she always prioritizes this step and never goes to bed with makeup on her face. Louis-Dreyfus also shared with the magazine that she likes to keep fit. She said she enjoys working out and also going for hikes.
Julia Louis-Dreyfus Believes Older Women Should Not Be 'Invisible'
Besides acting, Louis-Dreyfus launched her first podcast in 2023. The podcast "Wiser Than Me," aims to focus on the lives of older women to learn from their wisdom, as she had not come across any podcast focused on that. She said:
"Older women, in my view, are very much made invisible in our culture. [...] The experience and wisdom of older women is an untapped natural resource that we have at our fingertips, but we're not using it."
