Al Roker Can Not Get Enough of New Granddaughter Sky Clara as He Cradles Her in Adorable Snap

Al Roker's granddaughter continues to be one of the highlights of the weatherman's social media. "Grandchildren are the BEST! Enjoy every moment," one commented on a recent post.

"I could look into this face all day," Al Roker wrote of the photo of him and his granddaughter gazing at each other on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.

"But then, little Sky Clara wouldn't get to eat, so I eventually had to give her back to Mommy and Daddy," he concluded. "Looks like she already has her grandfather wrapped around her finger, as it should be! Enjoy!!!" an Instagram user wrote.

"She seems pretty interested in you too, Grandpa," a follower pointed out. "Love the way she is looking at you," another concurred:

"She is making plans with the weatherman."

Sky Clara Laga was born on July 3, 2023, to Courtney Roker Laga and her husband, Wes Laga. Courtney wrote in the social media birth announcement, "We are absolutely obsessed with her."

Al shared photos of the newborn on July 11, in one of which she is holding his thumb. He held her for around two hours and could not stop "marveling" at her. In his first post on Sky Clara, he thanked his daughter and son-in-law for the blessing but threatened:

"Already planning the ways to spoil her and then hand her back."

The "TODAY" host is currently spending time with family outdoors with his daughter, Leila Roker's first time back on the lake in five years. The Roker family could celebrate another important milestone this week with Al taking his first '#lakewalk' yesterday since his knee replacement surgery.

Tuesday, May 30, had marked Al Roker's return to air full-time post-operation, though he made a cameo the previous week, surprising his co-anchors. Outside of work, he and his wife, Deborah Roberts, attended the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in June.
