Al Roker Is All Smiles with His Only Son Nick during Family Dinner

Every moment spent with family is important to Al Roker, especially since he became an empty nester. Al recently shared a photo with his son, Nick Roker, while bonding over dinner at home.

Al Roker is a dedicated American weathercaster known for his "Today" show segment. However, despite his busy schedule, his devotion as a father does not waver.

He enjoys being a dad and often shares glimpses of his family life on social media. Most recently, Al posted a selfie with his son, Nick Roker, while enjoying their outdoor dinner.

"The weather finally broke and was perfect for eating in the backyard with my boy, Nick," he captioned the post. The father and son dressed casually as they dined in a well-lit backyard. Their adorable little dog, Pepper, was joining them in the photo, waiting for food to fall from the table.

Nick is no stranger to Al's Instagram posts, as he often appears with his dad. Earlier in July, the television personality shared another selfie with his son, sharing that they bonded over lunch at the West Taghkanic Diner.

Nick is a college student who began his freshman year in August 2022. At that time, Al and his wife, Deborah Roberts, dropped him off and bid him goodbye and good luck.

Deborah shared the special moment on Instagram, writing, "After all the hard work. All the discipline. All the dreaming. All the prayers. His moment to soar has come." Al is also a proud dad who talked about Nick Roker's accomplishment during a segment on "Today." He said:

"He's put in so much hard work, and I'm just so very proud of this young man."

Nick is the youngest of Al's three children. He became a first-time dad in 1987 with the birth of his daughter, Courtney, whom he had with his ex-wife, Alice Bell. After they divorced, Al married Deborah Roberts and had two children: Leila and Nick.

Besides being a doting dad, Al is also a loving grandfather. This year, his eldest daughter, Courtney, and her husband, Wesley Laga, made Al Roker a first-time grandpa with the birth of their daughter, Sky Clara. Al has since shared several photos with his granddaughter, fully assuming the role of a grandfather.

The "Today" anchor even got teary-eyed when his daughter, Leila Roker, met Sky Clara for the first time, marking a special moment for him.
