Brooke Shields is best known for her roles in film and TV. However, she recently stepped out of these roles to take on another one. She and her daughter, Grier Henchy, attended the CNN Heroes event, where she presented an award. However, fans were more focused on her daughter.

Shields shared a photo carousel of her evening with her daughter, with the first photo being the two of them posing in their matching black outfits. Fans soon noticed that Henchy was her mother's "spitting image," noting that they even had similar facial expressions.

Other fans focused on the mother-daughter duo's outfits, with one fan saying Shields looked beautiful in her dress and another saying: "You're an elegant mother and daughter." One more fan said nothing was better than a new-age and timeless beauty in the same photo while another noted that they looked "absolutely gorgeous."

When dressing for the event, Grier decided to shop in her mother's closet and wear a dress that her mother wore the year she was born. The black, strapless Richard Tyler gown was one her mother wore at the Carousel of Hope Ball in 2006. She also wore her mother's Dolce & Gabanna suit to the "Pretty Baby" premiere in March.
