Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie’s Father Photographed Attending the Same Event amid Exes’ Messy Divorce
"Bullet Train" star Brad Pitt and Jon Voight, his former father-in-law, both attended a Beverly Hills gallery exhibition. The two were photographed interacting with different people at the event.
Brad Pitt and Jon Voight, his ex-wife's father, were both present at Bennett Miller's art exhibition hosted at the Gagosian Gallery in Beverly Hills. The action star, who talked and laughed with other guests, found himself only a few feet away from his former father-in-law and brother-in-law.
Photographs captured from inside the gallery showcasing Pitt in a lighthearted conversation with friends and Voight conversing with others later circulated on social media. Sam Asghari, Britney Spears' ex-husband, was also in the gallery event and had a picture with Pitt that reached the internet.
The gallery exhibition, curated by the "Moneyball" director, brought together an eclectic mix of attendees, creating a setting where Pitt and Voight found themselves sharing the same space. Pitt's new girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, was reportedly by his side during the said event.

Despite the complexities of Voight's daughter and Pitt's divorce, her father had previously extended good wishes to Pitt. In a 2021 video that made the news, Voight said, "[Pitt] has had some difficulties with alcohol, and I hope that he takes care of things, and I pray for the guy. The kids are coping as best they can."

However, he did not comment much about his relationship with Jolie. He also claimed he had nothing to say about his daughter and Pitt's divorce court case.

Jolie and Pitt announced the end of their relationship in 2016, with the "Salt" star filing for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. Jolie also requested joint legal custody but sole physical custody for their six kids, allowing Pitt only to have visitation rights. However, the actor disagreed and petitioned for joint custody.
Although legally single again, custody over their kids remains unresolved. Their children, Vivienne, Knox, Shiloh, Zahara, Pax, and Maddox, have also been affected by the divorce, including some whose relationships with Pitt were strained.

In 2023, Pitt and Jolie became involved in another legal battle after the actor sued his ex-wife for selling her share of their winery to a Russian oligarch. According to Pitt, Jolie deliberately kept her plans private. The sale has reportedly since affected the business' image.
Brad Pitt has since found love again with his girlfriend, de Ramon. The two were previously seen attending the actor's birthday bash at Mother Wolf, Los Angeles, wearing fashionable ensembles. Photographs showed Pitt in a loose top and baggy trousers, while his partner opted for a more dressy outfit.
