Dale Jr. and Amy Earnhardt share pictures of new baby

The two are proud parents to their little bundle of joy.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Earnhardt welcomed their first child on April 30, 2018, but fans had to wait a little longer to see baby Isla.

After more than a week of waiting, fans finally got a glimpse of baby Isla Rose when the parents posted photos of their child on Instagram.

The photos come days after Dale Jr. had explained why they were not going to share photos anytime soon. However, they seem to have found the perfect opportunity.

Isla Rose was born just a day before the expected due date on May 1.

Dale Jr. had earlier spoken about his new experience as a father and about what it was like to see his wife’s natural instincts at work as she tended to their adorable daughter.

The proud parents were looking for the right time to share Isla’s first photos with the fans and it was on Mother’s Day. They shared the day with their family.

Both Dale Jr. and Amy shared the photos on their respective Instagram accounts.

The former racer uploaded a picture on Instagram on May 14, in which Amy is cradling their child with everyone around them posing for a group photo.

The one uploaded by Amy was a professional one of herself, her husband, and their newest family member.

The beautiful black-and-white photo has Amy holding their baby, while Dale Jr. plants a kiss on the little one’s forehead.

On the first day of May, Amy took to Twitter to share the news with the fans. She wrote, ‘She’s finally here! Dale Jr. and I are officially parents to a beautiful baby girl, Isla Rose Earnhardt.’

The recently retired NASCAR driver retweeted his wife’s words about her ‘best dream’ saying that it was a new beginning and that everything he does now is for his daughter and for Amy.
