Tami Roman looks gorgeous in a hooded jumpsuit amid critics constantly commenting on her weightloss journey.
Tami from "Basketball Wives" has been struggling with her weight for years, even admitting using diet pills to help her shed 30 pounds. Now that she is finally flaunting her new figure, she has been receiving a lot of backlash on social media.
On almost every single photo she posts on Instagram, there are always some followers who feel the need to criticize her for how she looks, or for her weight.
"I know God is covering me, so until my seat is fully ready at the table, I’ll practice squatting right beside it. #InclineStateOfMind #ImReady #GodsPlan#enlargemyterritory @styledbyudi"
In 2011, "Basketball Wives" fans were able to watch Tami undergo a smart liposuction procedure on camera. A few years later, she was diagnosed with diabetes and quit smoking, so she started to gain some weight.
When she finally felt the need to weigh herself, she was at 185 pounds, and decided to make a big change.
She decided to take a diet pill that eventually helped her lose 7 pounds per week, until she lost 30 pounds in total. Her journey was so successful, that she became the face of the company and became their latest endorser.
Despite effort with her diet pills, she was not content with being a size 10 or 12. She then spoke to her friend Halle Berry, who is also diagnosed with diabetes. Roman shared a bit of their conversation with Madamenoire:
I was talking to Halle, and she said 'Tami, the truth of the matter is — you either wanna live or you wanna die. You can continue thinking what you think and doing what you’re doing, but you’re not going to be here long. And that like really hit home for me. So I changed up my whole diet and eating and trying to be healthy and live right, and now people say I’m too skinny. Now, I’m a bobble head."
