Joe Jackson, the patriarch of one of the most influential families in the entertainment industry, took to Twitter to share a cryptic message about sunsets.

On June 24, Joe posted a photo of himself looking at the water while the sunset was displayed at its best. Even though the picture surprised many people, the message he wrote alongside was the highlight of the post.

‘I have seen more sunsets than I have left to see. The sun rises when the time comes and whether you like it or not the sun sets when the time comes.’

While he didn’t address his health condition with this post, it might be linked to the rumors that have been circulating lately about Joe fighting with a terminal disease.

Joe’s post came after Daily Mail reported that he prohibited his family members from visiting him. The Jackson family was involved in several arguments for four days because they wanted to see Joe and to be at his bedside but no one would tell why they couldn’t.

After an emergency meeting that the family had with Joe’s manager, Charles Coupet, they were granted access to the 89-year-old man.

Joe himself allegedly gave the order of not receiving any visitors or family members. They must not see him or his medical records during those dreadful moments.

According to People, Janet Jackson, one of Joe’s daughters, mentioned his father while accepting her 2019 Radio Disney Music Awards Impact trophy. She started by saying that it was humbling to be recognized as someone who has had a positive impact on other.

Apart from that, Janet revealed that she could do it only because she had been ‘greatly’ impacted by positive people in her life. She named her mother, Katherine Jackson, who ‘nourished’ her with love.

Later, she pointed out that her father, Joe, drove her to be the best she could. Finally, Janet said that her siblings set an incredibly high standard for artistic excellence.
