Diana Ross' daughter Chudney shares photo with her mini-me in matching green bathing suits
The second oldest daughter of the famous singer has decided to live a life away from the limelight, but she still uses social media and shares photos of her own children on her accounts.
Chudney Ross, Diana Ross' second oldest child, has a young daughter of her own, 5-year-old Callaway Lane. The proud mama recently took to social media to share a sweet image of herself with the little girl, enjoying the beach.
The photo, posted to Instagram, shows mother and daughter wearing matching green bathing suits, laughing happily as they relax on the sand at Marina del Rey, California.
"Summer is officially here and though as a mama, that means a lot to juggle with camps, work commitments, play dates and more, I’m excited to make lots of memories! We look forward to lots of beaching, laughing and playing here in LA, but also we are hoping to squeeze in some east coast travel to spend time with friends and family! What are your summer plans?" she captioned the adorable shot.
Callaway and her mother both wore bathing suits with a dark green and white leafy pattern across the suit. They also both wore huge grins as they enjoyed their day.
Chudney had her long dark hair tied back in a high ponytail, and accessorized her look with a pair of dark heart-shaped sunglasses, a pair of gold hoop earrings, and a long delicate necklace.
Her young daughter also wore her hair back in a high ponytail.
Chudney is Diana's second child from her first marriage to Robert Ellis Silberstein. Unlike her older sister Tracee Ellis Ross, Chudney has opted for a quiet life outside of the limelight.
She did have short stint as a model, before deciding to focus her career plans elsewhere.
Instead, she wanted to focus her attention on children and literature, two of the things she loves most in the world. That passion led her to open Books and Cookies, a children's bookstore, bakery, and enrichment center in Santa Monica.
At Books and Cookies, Chudney teaches children about literature, the arts, and music.
Chudney is married to Joshua Faulkner, who is also Callaway's father. The couple have led a drama-free life together for over 7 years.
